Stay Connected, Supported and Informed

Our trader drop-in sessions are a relaxed space for York city centre businesses to share what’s going on, raise issues, swap ideas and stay connected.

There’s no agenda, no formal meeting and no need to book — just an opportunity to talk, listen and link up with others who care about York’s high streets.

📅 When and Where

Our drop-in sessions run on the:

Second Tuesday of every month

Time: 9.00am – 10.30am
Venue: To be confirmed (we’ll update this page once it’s finalised).

Refreshments: As our sessions take place in local cafés, attendees are invited to purchase their own drinks if they’d like one. It’s a small way we can support our hosts while the Hub remains unfunded.

👥 Who Are the Drop-Ins For?

These sessions are open to:

  • York City Centre traders and small businesses

  • City-centre venues and hospitality

  • Representatives from street or area associations

  • Partners and organisations supporting York’s high streets

You don’t need to be part of a group to come along — solo traders are very welcome.

🗣️ What Can We Talk About?

Typical topics include:

  • Footfall and trading conditions

  • Seasons, events and city activity

  • Opportunities for joint promotion

  • Issues affecting specific streets

  • Positive York story ideas

  • Suggestions for better communication across the city

If it affects York’s high streets, it’s welcome in the room.
